Who are we looking for?
Our market leading Corporate M&A group are currently seeking a Solicitor with between 2 and 4 years PQE to join our Melbourne team, which is a strong 7 Partner practice. You will work closely with Partners, advising on some of the country’s most exciting deals. Recent deals the team has advised on include acting for ENGIE and Mitsui on the recent auction and sale of Loy Yang B, advising Transurban on its 2018 capital raising, acting for Asciano in relation to its $9 billion Brookfield and Qube consortia takeover and acting for GE on the sale of its ANZ consumer finance business.
The team is looking for a driven and passionate Solicitor, who sees this opportunity as a chance to join and learn from the best! What would you bring to the team?
Of course you will have first rate written and oral communication skills, strong drafting experience and top notch legal analysis and an understanding of complex areas of law, but what’s most important to us is that you have a passion for commercial law and clients.
You will be self-aware and have the ability to work well with others; nothing you do here at KWM will be alone, it’s all about team work, collaboration, development in you and others and making this a great place to work.
