We have a fantastic opportunity for a solicitor (1-3pqe) to join our Banking & Finance practice working with our Debt Capital Markets and Real Estate Finance team.
Our work
You will be responsible for varied challenging and complex legal work. This role will see you work on a wide range of financing transactions with a particular focus on property and corporate finance and debt capital markets transactions for Australian and international clients.
Our team
This role will see you work with Ken Astridge , a leading practitioner and highly regarded Partner in our Banking & Finance team. Ken is consistently listed in legal publications for his expertise and deep experience in financing mandates. You will also work with Natalie Halpern , one of our new Banking & Finance Partners who advises leading Australian and international clients on all aspects of their funding needs including the establishment of bank debt and capital markets debt platforms.
You will have
previous experience in a similar role working for a highly regarded banking team
excellent technical, analytical, communication and research skills - to contribute to the delivery of prompt and commercially astute advice
strong commitment to client service - you will play a role in supporting and actively developing our relationships with clients
team focus - to facilitate effective teamwork by developing strong internal relationships
enthusiasm to be involved in business development activities - participating in industry related programs and developing strategic relationships and networks
first rate experience of drafting documents.
a willingness to be challenged, and think creatively and laterally
