Monday - Friday, 12 month contract

About you

You will enjoy working as part of a professional team and will have an adaptable and pro-active nature. As a team player you will be able to assist other areas of the Business Services and Hospitality teams when required. A successful candidate will have a can do attitude and proven commitment to service excellence.

Key skills for this position include:

  • Espresso machine confidence & knowledge
  • Waiter experience. Corporate boardroom is desirable but not essential
  • Basic wine knowledge
  • Coffee making experience preferred
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively at all levels
  • Good organisational and prioritisation skills and a high attention to detail
  • Basic Microsoft Office
  • Knowledge of computer based booking systems

About the role

In this role, you will be responsible for:

  • Providing professional boardroom waiter service to client meetings
  • Undertaking a range a hospitality tasks as directed by the Chef or Supervisor
  • Assisting with the provision and preparation of food and beverage service
  • Setting up/clearing for functions/meetings in a prompt, professional and friendly manner. This includes breakfasts, morning teas, lunches, afternoon teas, cocktail parties, dinners and VIP functions
  • Kitchenhand and cleaning duties as required.

You will work to ensure all tasks are completed correctly, efficiently and professionally while representing the Hospitality team. As some of our functions take place after hours, flexibility with working hours will be required. We do not operate on the weekends.
