Associate – Corporate Business
Full Time - Permanent
We are looking for a junior-mid level Associate with cross border general corporate experience.
As a junior Associate looking to step into an experienced role, you will have the opportunity to build a successful career in an achievement orientated yet supportive environment. You may be working in a similar commercial law firm, enjoy the challenge of taking on certain matters autonomously and independently, seeking guidance when required.
About the role:
General corporate experience, with a focus on M&A, Foreign Direct Investments, corporate governance and general commercial matters with PRC, Hong Kong and international exposure; excellent analytical and communication skills in English and Chinese, and an ability to produce commercially astute advice is required to effectively support client's needs in this role.
You will have:
Graduate from a highly recognised law school with master’s degree or above, overseas study experience preferred
Familiar with legal practise dealing with corporate business matters
Ability to coordinate multiple parties, including off-shore counsel and regulatory agencies.
Ability to develop and manage client relationships, delegate and manage junior lawyers and trainees.
Passion for legal work, team working spirit, detail orientated and ability to work under pressure
Fluency in English and Mandarin language skills.
