About the role

This role will see the successful candidate join a dynamic and well-respected team.  You will provide assistance to Senior Management in the areas of financial analysis, planning, budgeting and forecasting.

Key accountabilities may include (but are not limited to):

  • Preparation of timely and accurate regular management reports, partner distribution and partner reporting packages including insights and commentary
  • Evaluating the profitability and performance of practice teams against budgets and identifying issues and recommendations to achieve targeted results
  • Assisting with pricing support to Client Relationship Partners and Business Development Managers when responding to requests for pricing (RFP’s) so as to protect and improve profitability
  • Other responsibilities including developing financial models and providing analysis for various projects within the business, and supporting the firm’s Legal Project Management initiative

What experience and skills are we looking for?

Our ideal candidate will have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or Commerce with a Chartered Accounting or CPA qualification
  • 5+ years commercial experience in management accounting, planning, reporting and budgeting roles ideally gained within in a recognised Blue-Chip company or similar disciplined environment
  • Proven commercial experience within an analytical role with demonstrable experience in financial reporting, analysis and advanced Excel modelling skills
  • Focus on best practice and client service
  • A hands-on approach and be a proactive self-starter
  • Professional Services experience is desirable
