We are seeking a solicitor with 1-3 years’ experience in real estate to join our Sydney Projects & Real Estate team.
About the Team
In this role you will report to Felicity Savage, a senior partner in our real estate group. Felicity acts for developers and investors across the spectrum of large scale complex real estate transactions. Her current practice concentrates on projects involving complex residential or commercial acquisitions and development, Felicity also has a depth of knowledge in alternative asset classes such as student accommodation transactions, data centres, hotel transactions, retirement living and manufactured homes. Her practice involves structuring and implementing joint ventures.
Felicity is consistently ranked in industry publications as a leading real estate lawyer and has been nominated as one of the world’s best lawyers by Chambers Asia Pacific 2015. She is also ranked by Best Lawyers in Australia 2016 in the area of Real Estate law and was the only Australian finalist for Euromoney Women in Business Law Asia – Real Estate in 2015.
You will have gained previous experience in real estate ideally with exposure to large scale developments within a first-tier or high profile property practice. You will have a strong desire to develop an understanding of common development and property investment structures. However if you are a junior lawyer with a passion to learn more about real estate but don't necessarily satisfy the experience criteria you should also get in touch with us.

First rate written and oral communication skills, the ability to develop strong drafting and legal analysis skills, as well as an ability to get across complex areas of law quickly. But what’s most important to us is that you have a passion for commercial law, serving clients and contributing to a stimulating workplace.
