About the role

Our Brisbane Projects & Real Estate team are currently recruiting a Senior Solicitor or Junior SA to work closely with Chris Pitson and the broader Real Estate team. This role will see you responsible for challenging and complex legal work which often sets the pace in the market.


Our team has an exciting and varied range of work in the real estate sector – including dealings with significant commercial, retail and industrial assets across a range of Australian jurisdictions.  That variety is extended even further by our work on a variety of renewable energy, infrastructure, and resources projects.


The variety and quality of our work also means our team gets to work with amazing clients – clients who are leading or significant members of their respective markets.


We have a collaborative approach within our team, the national Real Estate team and also with other practice groups – which means this role provides extensive opportunities to work across centres and teams and build your personal experience and networks. 

About you

As a senior lawyer within the team you will be expected to take an active role in client pursuits and to contribute to build and maintain your profile within the firm and in the market. You will have proven experience in assistance in the management of teams and projects (including supervision of junior lawyers).

You will have

  • extensive experience in drafting documents and conducting due diligence for a range of real estate and development transactions
  • excellent communication skills
  • excellent analytical and research skills and attention to detail
  • strong commitment to client service and well-developed relationship management ability
  • enthusiasm to be involved in business development activities
  • team focus

You will have recognised experience gained within private practice or in-house and enjoy working as part of a committed team.
