Business Services Clerk -Full time

Working within the Business Services team, the role of Business Services Clerk is to provide support and assistance within all Business Services areas ensuring that the key functions of the group are delivered in a helpful, professional and timely manner.

The successful applicant will demonstrate high level organisational and time management skills, with an emphasis on providing high quality service in a supportive and dynamic environment.

About the role

In this busy hands-on role, your day will involve:

  • All duties associated with the various Business Service Centre responsibilities in particular:
  • Document production (print, copy, scan, binding etc) mail arrangement and distribution, records management and arranging incoming/outgoing couriers
  • Managing workflow and tasks efficiently to meet deadlines
  • Ensuring tasks are completed with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Following instructions and procedures, resolving issues, understanding clients needs and responding in an efficient and professional manner
  • Contributing to the continuous improvement of the department and enhancement of client service levels
  • Developing and maintaining a good relationship with internal and external clients
  • Ensuring the tenancy is a safe and secure environment
  • Reporting and adhering to WHS requirements, no tripping hazards etc
  • Providing Reception cover when required
  • Assisting with visitor allocations and office tours
  • Issuing and maintaining access passes
  • Processing and reconciling invoices
  • Maintaining a professional office environment
  • Assisting with meeting room set ups, desk and office moves
  • Assisting with ad hoc and planned local and national initiatives and projects 

About you

A successful candidate will have high calibre customer service skills as well as:

  • Excellent communication and organisational skills with meticulous attention to detail
  • Dedicated and proactive
  • Experience working in an administration role
  • Have a good eye for layout and design ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with teams to meet objectives
  • A flexible attitude towards duties and hours
  • Able to demonstrate professionalism and courtesy at all times
  • A willingness to learn
