About the role
As part of our Practice Assistant team, you will provide fundamental administrative and operational assistance across a range of tasks in our Sydney office.
Our national program, with intakes in Sydney, Melbourne, Perth and Brisbane, is an immersive 12 month paid learning and development program helping you develop your personal and professional skills. You will have the opportunity to work in different legal teams and work as part of an inclusive and collaborative team.

What you’ll learn
Our experienced Practice Assistants will provide you with the support and guidance you need to become a successful Practice Assistant. Daily tasks will vary but will involve legal document management (including printing, filing and archiving), client relations, financial administration, diary management, travel coordination and general administrative support.
You will undertake a formal induction program and learn about the day-to-day skills to get you set up for success.
About You
You will have:
- An interest in working as part of a team
- Ability to manage competing priorities
- Experience with Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Ability to analyse, problem solve and apply appropriate use of judgement
- Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, choosing an appropriate style for their audience
- Well-developed people skills
- Confidence and ability to use initiative appropriately
- Effective planning and organisational skills
- Reliability
